Who I Am and Why I Do This
From a very young age, I knew my life would be tied to wood. At 15, I started working as a carpenter in my father’s company, surrounded by great cabinetmakers from the province, who helped me perfect my craft with dedication and effort. Over time, I came to take charge of the family business, but inside me, a true passion was still beating strongly: the construction of guitars.
While still very young, I set out to try it on my own, self-taught, with more enthusiasm than technique. It wasn’t easy, but I never stopped dreaming of dedicating myself fully to this art. That dream became a reality when Master “Javier Castaño” opened the doors of his home and his wisdom to me. I will be eternally grateful to him for training me and passing on everything he could teach me.
Today, I can proudly say that I build flamenco guitars with my heart. I’m not driven by commercial ends, but by passion, the emotion of each wood, the soul that each instrument holds. And that is the spirit I want to convey in every guitar that leaves my hands
